Oceanic environments are one of the largest sources bioactive molecules, due to high degree biodiversity and innumerable ecological relationships established between macro microorganisms found in different ecosystems these complex environments. Marine organisms being studied increasingly because they considered important producers biologically active peptides. Peptides extracted from marine have functions structures, when compared peptides isolated terrestrial sources, considering adaptive pressures undergone by throughout evolutionary process. Most compounds obtained symbiont microorganisms. Of microorganisms, bacteria an source peptides, metagenomic studies gene networks expressed under conditions. Several been shown biotechnological properties such as antimicrobial, antitumor, antihypertensive, anticoagulant, anti-fouling, antioxidant activity can be used pharmaceutical food industries. This review article aims provide overview importance, phyla organisms, examining relationship structure function some well ways extracting, purifying prospecting new traditional methods isolation or sequence analysis databases. It also intends list that already produced industry, its various branches, their current state market clinical tests.
